The 1899 is modeled from the 1899 American $5 bill and printed directly on top grain veg tan leather. It was the only U.S. paper currency to honor a native American. Unfortunately the engraver decided the sitting chiefs head dress was too big to fit in the frame and simply replaced it with one that fit the frame better (FROM A COMPETING TRIBE!!!) Distressed Italian book cloth spine and a black phenolic frame compete this distinguished leather iPad case.
